SAIC Lands $105M Defense Logistics Contract; Mark Escobar Comments


SAIC logoScience Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) has been awarded a $105 million contract with the Defense Logistics Agency to deliver maintenance, repair and operations supplies for Defense Department installations.

SAIC said Monday it will carry out the MRO services in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico and Oklahoma under the indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract.

The contract contains a five-year period of performance.

“SAIC has provided MRO TLS services to the south central region since the program’s inception in 1998, ” said Mark Escobar, SAIC senior vice president and general manager of the DoD agencies and commands customer group.
