Navy Continues Endurance Flight Tests on Northrop MQ-8C Unmanned Helicopter


FireScoutTYSONS CORNER, VA August 26, 2015 — The U.S. Navy and Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) continue to perform capability-based testing on the MQ-8C Fire Scout, ahead of operational evaluation later in the year, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Northrop said the unmanned helicopter’s latest endurance flight lasted 11 hours out to a range of 150 nautical miles from Point Mogu.
