Mark Price, formerly Deloitte’s lead for state government and higher education strategy and operations practice, has been named vice chairman and U.S. public sector and state government lead of the company.
Price will succeed 26-year Deloitte veteran Jessica Blume and be responsible for industry practices such as health and human services, finance and administration, transportation, motor vehicles, workforce and higher education, Deloitte said Wednesday.
“For more than two decades, Mark has led engagements that have helped government agencies transform and enhance the services they provide to their communities, ” said Brian Kanter, principal at Deloitte Consulting LLP and U.S. clients and industries lead.
Price previously served government customers in Australia, New Zealand, the U.K. and the U.S.
The 25-year industry veteran has a public sector background in healthcare, human services, transportation, motor vehicles, energy and resources, finance, administration and technology operations.
