Lockheed Starts Stealth Tech Work for Next-Gen Spy Plane


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA August 20, 2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) company Skunk Works has begun researching on stealth technology that could be outfitted into its next generation of surveillance aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Flightglobal said the company envisions the high-altitude long-endurance spy plane, internally referred to as RQ-X or UQ-2, would combine attributes from the U2 and RQ-4 Global Hawk platforms.
