HP, Fujitsu Secure $2B IT, Comms Contract from UK Defense

ContractTYSONS CORNER, VA August 6, 2015 — The HP-led (NYSE: HPQ) Atlas Consortium will provide information technology support services worth $1.4 billion to the British defense ministry under a renegotiated Defence Information Infrastructure contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The Ministry of Defense said Monday the contract is one of two it awarded to update its information and communications technology infrastructure.

The other contract seeks connectivity services from Fujitsu for $854 million through 2020, MoD said.
