General Dynamics Digital Modular Radios for Installation Onboard New Navy Subs

general dynamics logoTYSONS CORNER, VA August 12, 2015 — General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) will supply 50 digital modular radios to the U.S. Navy for installation onboard new destroyers and submarines under option five of an original contract awarded in 2010, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The AN/USC-61(C) radios have MUOS satellite communications capability designed to provide service members with smartphone-like connection even in remote or harsh environments, General Dynamics said Monday.
