Edinburgh Chooses CGI in Digital Transformation Initiative

CGI-logoTYSONS CORNER, VA August 25, 2015 —The City of Edinburgh Council has contracted CGI (NYSE: GIB) to help modernize the Scottish capital’s information and communications technology services through 2022 for $292 million, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

CGI said the work includes building digital online services for citizens, providing bandwidth speed upgrades for schools, and integrating a new enterprise resource planning system into the city government’s back-office processes.
