Army Seeks Sources to Deploy Driver’s Vision Enhancer Systems to Vehicles

army-vehicleThe U.S. Army is seeking information on potential sources to provide engineering and production services to support the deployment of the Driver’s Vision Enhancer – Family of Systems to combat and tactical wheeled vehicles.

In a notice posted Wednesday on FedBizOpps, the Army Contracting Command said it is looking for vendors that can offer up to 10, 000 DVE systems.

DVE-FOS is a compact thermal imaging system that utilizes sensors to boost visibility during darkness or in degraded visual conditions, the Army said.

The program is open to any size of business if they are based in the U.S.

Responses are due Sept. 10.
