Air Force Extends BAE’s SSPARS Support Work


Bae systems logo_ExecutiveBizTYSONS CORNER, VA August 21, 2015 — ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday on BAE Systems being awarded a contract to continue support for the operation and maintenance of the U.S. Air Force’s Solid State Phased Radar System platform for $46 million.

The extended work has a 2018 period of completion, and includes 24-hour assistance on the five space radar sites, BAE said Wednesday.
