UK Defense Ministry Extends Lockheed Asset Tracking Tech Contract


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA July 24, 2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will continue to provide logistics and tracking services of U.K. military parts under a new six-year, $28 million contract with the British defense ministry, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Lockheed said Wednesday the company has been utilizing its James asset management tool since 2004, technology that now handles up to 10 million transactions per month.
