NIST Vet Jeremy Grant Joins Chertoff Group as Managing Director

Jeremy Grant, formerly senior executive adviser at the National Institution of Standards and Technology, has been appointed to a managing director role at The Chertoff Group.

He will advise the firm’s clients on policies related to cybersecurity and information technology and help them craft strategic growth initiatives,  The Chertoff Group said Tuesday.

At NIST, Grant led the development of the National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace, the Identity Ecosystem Steering Group and Connect.gov, an online shared identity portal designed to link citizens to government services through digital applications.

He also directed authentication and identity initiatives under the agency’s Roadmap for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity.
