MDA Lands $50M IDIQ Contract for USAF Navigational Tool

ContractMacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates has won a potential five-year, $50.1 million contract to provide a navigational system for the U.S. Air Force.

MDA said Tuesday the navigation tool will work to help manage flight paths for USAF pilots during aircraft landings and takeoffs.

The military branch will authorize $4.7 million in initial funds under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, according to the company.

British Columbia-based MDA is an information and communications firm that provides aerial surveillance platforms, ground-based systems and geospatial services for government and commercial clients.
