TYSONS CORNER, VA July 22, 2015 — Tom Romeo, Maximus (NYSE: MMS) president for federal systems, indicated that industry has an opportunity to increase its participation in redefining the citizen experience when transacting with the government.

Romeo, speaking to ExecutiveBiz in an exclusive interview posted Tuesday, said citizens are beginning to expect to connect with government as they do in other aspects such as banking, shopping or dining out.

“Industry can play a role all the way from helping define the customer experience to outsourcing the work so that we are actually providing the service for the government to support their mission or down to helping implement technology that enables them to do more on their own to improve the citizen engagement, ” Romeo told EBiz.
