ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has been awarded a potential five-year, $278.5 million task order to provide logistics management and information technology modernization support services for the Defense Intelligence Agency.

The company said Thursday the task order contains a one-year base term and one four-year option.

“As the threat landscape continues to evolve, IT modernization and logistics management is even more critical to ensuring mission success and continuity to dedicated professionals across the globe.”  said Bill Varner, president ManTech’s mission, cyber and intelligence solutions group.

DIA awarded the task order through its Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise contract vehicle, which ManTech gained access to through its October 2011 acquisition of Worldwide Information Network Systems for $90 million cash.
