TYSONS CORNER, VA July 16, 2015 — Iridium Communications (Nasdaq: IRDM) has completed compact antenna test range testing for the Iridium NEXT satellite constellation, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.
The evaluation looked at the functionality of the main mission antenna as well as the feeder link and crosslink antennas, a step that puts the constellation closer to  deployment.
“The CATR testing ensures satellite functionality and communication with the payload, ” Scott Smith, chief operating officer at Iridium, said Wednesday.
