TYSONS CORNER, VA June 5, 2015 — SRA International said it has completed consolidation of the U.S. Coast Guard’s 30-year-old payroll platform using Oracle’s (NYSE: ORCL) PeopleSoft Global Payroll system, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The modernization project sought to include human resource support for the Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration USCG’s Direct Access HR software application, SRA said Wednesday.

“USCG sought a solution that would enable it to reduce IT customization, consolidate siloed systems and create one primary resource for HR data, ” said Mark Johnson, senior vice president for Oracle Public Sector and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2015.

“Oracle’s PeopleSoft Global Payroll solution provided USCG with a platform designed to improve efficiency, control worldwide payroll options and establish best practices across the enterprise.”
