Bill Varner, group president, said the company appointed Wagner for his experience in the areas of enterprise information technology, cloud computing and big data.

During his 16 years at TASC, he served as SVP for the company’s defense unit and oversaw its systems integration and engineering support services to the U.S. military.

Prior to TASC, Wagner worked at Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and supervised the development of the standard missile program office’s missile test system.

The former U.S. Navy employee also led a team of software verification experts at Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT).
