Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) will provide operations and maintenance services for the U.S. Navy‘s Broad Area Maritime Surveillance – Demonstrator unmanned aircraft system under a $60.9 million contract.
The Defense Department said Friday the cost-plus-fixed-fee contract also covers logistics and staffing in support of BAMS-D’s intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations.
Northrop will perform work in California, Maryland and at forward-operating locations through June 2016.
The full obligated amount is from the Navy’s fiscal 2015 operations and maintenance funds, DoD said.
