Navy Picks 7 for Design-Build Projects in NAVFAC Southeast Region


constructionThe U.S. Navy has awarded seven companies positions on a potential three-year, $95 million contract to provide design and construction services within the U.S. southeast area of responsibility of the Naval Facilities Engineering Command.

The contract also includes demolition, repair and renovation work at industrial, airfield, hangar, aircraft traffic control, administrative, training, dormitory and community support facilities, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

The military service received 45 bids through an online solicitation and is obligating $7, 000 in fiscal 2015 operation and maintenance funds at the time of award.

Eighty-five percent of the work will occur in south Texas and projects are scheduled for completion in June 2018.

  • Solis Constructors
  • MJPM Constructors
  • WEB
  • FLW and TJC joint venture
