Lockheed Awarded $238M Navy Delivery Order for F-35 Spares


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA June 30, 2015 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will provide the U.S. Navy with common, unique, aloft and deployment spares packages for the F-35 Lightning II in support of Lot 9 currently under low-rate initial production, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The procurement worth $238 million is part of a basic ordering agreement previously issued by the contracting activity, Naval Air Systems Command, and includes spares for U.S. allied forces, the Defense Department said Thursday.
