boeing logoTYSONS CORNER, VA June 4, 2015 — ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday that Boeing (NYSE: BA) could consider offering its Phantom Badger truck to the U.S. Army’s proposed ultra-light combat vehicle program.

“We haven’t made the determination that we’re going to pursue the ULCV, ” Kim McCamon, program manager at Boeing, told Sydney Freedberg of Breaking Defense in a report posted Monday.

“It’s going to depend on what the Army’s requirements are and what the business case is for Boeing.”

The company’s Phantom Works division designed and built the Phantom Badger to fit inside a Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft.
