Army Tests Northrop Air and Missile Defense System


northrop Grumman_BLUETYSONS CORNER, VA June 1, 2015 — ExecutiveBiz reported Friday on the U.S. Army kicking off flight tests for the Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) integrated air and missile defense battle command system.

Northrop said the IBCS mission control software was used in conjunction with Patriot radar and launchers to intercept a ballistic missile during the inaugural flight test conducted at White Sands Missile Range on Thursday.
