US Navy Picks Five Firms for $20M HVAC Construction IDIQ


ContractFive companies have won a combined $20 million contract to design and construct heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems at various U.S. Navy buildings and structures.

The companies will perform transportation, supervision, quality control, professional design and management services for the mechanical construction project at the Naval Support Activity Crane Division and Glendora test facility, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

Awardees of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract are:

  • Commercial Service of Bloomington
  • Custom Mechanical Systems
  • Harrell Contracting
  • Mastercraft Mechanical Contractors
  • Siemens Government Technologies

All five contracts contain a one-year base period and four option years, and the companies will perform work in Crane and Sullivan in Indiana through May 2020.

Commercial Service of Bloomington also won a $856, 000 task order to complete the HVAC system renovation at the Naval Support Activity in Crane, Indiana, by February 2016.
