John Tomaselli, former chief operating officer of SAP NS2 — the German conglomerate’s U.S. national security subsidiary — has joined business intelligence platform provider Govini as chief revenue officer.

Tomaselli managed operations and carried out sales and go-to-market business strategies at SAP NS2, Govini said Wednesday.

He has also served for two years as regional vice president of business analytics and technology for SAP’s U.S. public services arm and has held leadership roles at Business Objects and Xerox (NYSE: XRX).

Govini develops business intelligence platforms and analytics tools for public sector agencies and closed a $20 million capital funding round earlier this year as the company pushes to grow its presence in the U.S. government market.
