The U.S. Navy has selected eight companies to provide construction, repair and renovation services for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command‘s area of responsibility in the U.S. southwest region under a $240 million contract.
The Defense Department said Wednesday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers commercial and institutional facilities such as school buildings, hospitals, fire stations, laboratories and parking structures.
The following companies will perform work based on task orders over a five-year period ending May 2020:
- Harper Construction
- The Haskell Company
- Hensel Phelps Construction
- R.A. Burch Construction
- RQ Construction
- Sauer Inc.
- Solpac Construction (Soltek Pacific Construction)
- Straub Construction
Locations included under NAVFAC Southwest are Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
