Navy Selects 8 Firms for Construction Services to NAVFAC Southwest


constructionThe U.S. Navy has selected eight companies to provide construction, repair and renovation services for the Naval Facilities Engineering Command‘s area of responsibility in the U.S. southwest region under a $240 million contract.

The Defense Department said Wednesday the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers commercial and institutional facilities such as school buildings, hospitals, fire stations, laboratories and parking structures.

The following companies will perform work based on task orders over a five-year period ending May 2020:

  • Harper Construction
  • The Haskell Company
  • Hensel Phelps Construction
  • R.A. Burch Construction
  • RQ Construction
  • Sauer Inc.
  • Solpac Construction (Soltek Pacific Construction)
  • Straub Construction

Locations included under NAVFAC Southwest are Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah.
