May 11 Morning Report: GovCon Index Posts Friday Gains


GovConIndexUPThe GovCon Index rallied 1.046 percent to close Friday at 73.943, recovering four days of losses in a row for the week.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1.49 percent to 18, 191.11, the Standard & Poor’s 500 composite index jumped 1.35 percent to 2, 116.09 and the NASDAQ composite index rose 1.17 percent to 5, 003.55.
