L-3 Vertex Awarded $56M Navy Training Logistics Contract Modification

A subsidiary of L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) has received a $56.2 million contract modification from the U.S. NavyÂ forÂ logistics and depot-level services onÂ 119 TH-57Â trainer aircraft.

The Defense Department said TuesdayÂ L-3 Communications Vertex Aerospace will provide the services in support of the undergraduate helicopter pilot training program of theÂ Naval Air Training Command.

L-3 Vertex will perform contract work at theÂ Naval Air Station Whiting Field in Florida through May 2016, DoD added.
