Joseph Brown to Lead VSE’s Federal Services Group


VSELogoJoseph Brown, a 19-year veteran of VSE Corp. (NASDAQ: VSEC), has been promoted to president of the company’s federal services business group.

He will report directly to CEO Maurice Gauthier and oversee an organization that provides fleet modernization and sustainment, prototyping, configuration management, engineering, logistics and field support services to U.S. and international military agencies, VSE said Monday.

“My experience at VSE has prepared me well to lead our group into the future by providing mission critical solutions to our nation’s warfighters and to expand our direct commercial sales offerings internationally, ” Brown said.

Brown joined the company in 1996 after 20 years of active duty in the U.S. Navy.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maryland University College and an associate’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Tennessee.
