TYSONS CORNER, VA May 1, 2015 — Executive Mosaic — Exelis (NYSE: XLS) is set to build an electronic warfare system for the special mission AC/MC-130J aircraft in collaboration with L-3 Platform Integration, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.The contract for the Air Force Special Operations Command will combine its EW technology with L-3’s domain knowledge and integration experience on the Commando II planes, Exelis said Tuesday.
Development work will occur in the two companies’ respective facilities in Waco, Texas, and Clifton, New Jersey.
