Army Chooses 14 Firms for $1.5B Energy Mgmt Services IDIQ


PowerPlantFourteen companies will compete to design, build and operate energy-conservation systems for the U.S. Army under a potential nine-year, $1.5 billion contract.

The firm-fixed-price contract will run through May 7, 2024 and the Army Corps of Engineers will provide funds and performance location upon the award of each task order, the Defense Department said Friday.

Twenty-two proposals were submitted to USACE through an online solicitation.
