Tim Hurlebaus Takes President Role at CGI Federal

Tim Hurlebaus, former senior vice president of the national security and defense programs unit at CGI Federal (NYSE: GIB), has taken the role of president at the Montreal-based company’s federal services subsidiary.

CGI has made no official announcement of the appointment but has updated its website to reflect Hurlebaus’ new position at the subsidiary.

He succeeds James Peake, the former veterans affairs secretary and Wash100 inductee who led CGI Federal as president for the past year.

Hurlebaus oversees CGI’s work with the departments of Homeland Security and Justice, many intelligence agencies,  the General Services Administration, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force in his SVP role.

His career at CGI also includes time in roles such as head of the U.S. enterprise markets business engineering and strategic sales group and leader of growth initiatives for CGI in Europe and Asia.
