PAE has been awarded a seven-year, $90.4 million contract to provide mail transport equipment support services to the U.S. Postal Service at an equipment service center in Chicago.

The company said Friday it will process, store and ship mail transport equipment such as sacks, trays, pallets, wheeled containers and other equipment used to move mail among postal facilities.

The contract has three base years and two two-year options and brings to eight the number of MTESC locations where PAE operates, it added.

According to PAE CEO John Heller, the company’s longstanding relationship with USPS helps PAE to continuously develop its methodologies and approaches.

PAE has worked with the Postal Service since 1998.
