Northrop to Update Marine Helicopter Software, Hardware

northrop Grumman_BLUENorthrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE: NOC) has been awarded an $83, 738, 954 contract to develop and update mission computer software and hardware on helicopters flown by the U.S. Marine Corps.

The company will perform research and development work on the system configuration sets for the AH-1Z and UH-1Y computers, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Northrop will perform work in California, Utah and Maryland through April 2019 under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
