PublicEngines’ cloud-based offerings include CommandCentral Analytics,  CommandCentral Predictive, CrimeReports and TipSoft, which provide data visualization, predictive policing, crime mapping and tip management functions, respectively.
Motorola said the addition of PublicEngines’ products to its portfolio works to bolster situational awareness and citizen interaction in public safety programs.
This transaction follows Motorola’s February acquisition of Emergency CallWorks, a maker of public emergency communications software.
