
DCCA CEO David Bower said Wednesday that the company would design the data environment to incorporate âthe full spectrum of data sources into a single federated system.â
“Our automated processes will allow CMS to normalize their disparate sources of data to gain a comprehensive and actionable view of their Fee for Service payment and clinical lab information, â Bower added.
DCCA will also develop a data input tool and database for reporting market data about drug manufacturers and clinical laboratories.
The system will work to set volume-weighted pricing caps and display fee schedule reports to the public.
