Cubic Completes Phase 1 of AFRL UAS LVC Range Project


CubicLogoTYSONS CORNER, VA April 7, 2015 — Executive Mosaic — ExecutiveBiz reported Monday on Cubic Corp. concluding phase one of the first deployable LVC (live, virtual and constructive) manned/unmanned aerial systems range in collaboration with the U.S. Air Force Research Lab and the Wright State Research Institute.

Bill Toti, president of Cubic Global Defense, said Thursday that the team-up is intended to generate scalable research for the training ranges in the greater Ohio region as well as the Defense Department.

The completed range will be used for research testing by the AFRL 711th Human Performance Wing.
