Kairos has bought emotion analysis technology firm IMRSV for an undisclosed amount in a move to integrate the IMRSV platform into Kairos’ facial biometrics portfolio.
“The acquisition helps us achieve our goal of delivering enterprise quality tools to developers and making facial biometrics and emotion analysis accessible to all, ” Brian Brackeen, Kairos founder and CEO, wrote in a blog post published Sunday on the company’s website.
He said the company now offers the Face Recognition and Emotion Analysis application program interfaces, an IMRSV camera-based audience measurement software and the Crowd Analytics software development kit.
Brackeen added that he believes Kairos’ facial biometrics technology could not only aid security programs, but it also has the potential to drive human-computer interaction.
