Chuck Harrington: Parsons Buys TJ Cross Engineers to Grow Energy Services Portfolio

PowerPlantParsons moved to grow its oil and gas market offerings with the acquisition of T.J. Cross Engineers, a professional services provider in the energy sector.

“We believe that combining Parsons’ engineering, procurement and construction services platform with T.J. Cross’ strong engineering base provides an exciting engine for growth, ” Chuck Harrington, Parsons chairman and CEO, said Monday.

Bakersfield, California-based T.J. Cross employs approximately 200 workers and specializes in heavy oil production projects with an established presence in the West Coast.

Virginia Grebbien, a Parsons group president, said T.J. Cross will be a part of Parsons’ environment and infrastructure business unit.
