Boeing Gets $714M Army Contract Modification for CH-47 Helicopters


boeing logoBoeing (NYSE: BA) will provide 26 remanufactured CH-47F and four new CH-47s helicopters to the U.S. Army under a $713, 896, 061 modification to a previously received contract.

The Defense Department said Friday the deal includes the option for two more new CH-47s and obligated long-lead funding for production lot 14.

Boeing will perform work at its Ridley Park facility in Pennsylvania through Dec. 31, 2020.

DoD said the full amount of the modification was obligated at the time of award.
