Navy Orders $122M in Raytheon Tomahawk Missiles


Raytheon logoRaytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) missile systems business in Arizona will supply the U.S. Navy with 114 Tomahawk Block IV All-Up-Round missiles under a $122.4 million contract modification.

The Defense Department said Thursday Raytheon will perform contract work in Arizona, Arkansas, Utah and several other locations across the U.S. through August 2017.

The Navy will use weapons procurement funds for fiscal years 2014 and 2015 to cover the full obligated amount.

In September 2014,  Raytheon received an order for 231 Tomahawk missile systems for both the Navy and U.K. forces under a contract worth $251.1 million.
