Leidos to Help Navy Develop Signature Simulation Platforms


LeidosLogoLeidos (NYSE: LDOS) has been awarded a $49.5 million contract to perform scientific, engineering and technical work on signatures tactical training systems for the U.S. Navy.

The company will help the military service design, build, integrate, deploy and maintain synthetic signature generation-based platforms using All World Environment Simulation technology, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Leidos will also support SSG-based tactial engagement stimulation, analysis, trainer and development software testing platforms through the contract.

The Navy is obligating $4, 279, 859 at the time of award and Leidos will perform work in Reston, Virginia, through February 2019.
