George Mason University’s John Hillen Named to Wash100 List for Thought Leadership

Hillen is a defense and intelligence technology veteran who came into his present role with GMU from Sotera Defense Solutions, where he guided the organization as CEO. He also occupied leadership roles at CGI Federal, the Professional Services Council and the State Department.

He serves on six corporate boards across three industries (Chairing three of them), is a senior operating adviser at private equity firm LLR Partners, and is on the board of three think tanks, a trade industry association several philanthropic and community organizations.

Hillen is an appointee to the U.S. Navy‘s federal advisory commission and holds a Ph.D from Oxford University.
