General Dynamics, Medico Industries Win Army Artillery Assembly Contract Spots


ArmyGroundVehicleThe U.S. Army has selected General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) ordnance and tactical systems business and Medico Industries to manufacture metal parts assemblies for artillery rounds under a $301.6 million contract.

Contractors will build the components for M795 155-milimeter rounds through Jan. 30, 2020, the Defense Department said Friday.

The Pentagon said it will provide information on funding and work location upon award of each task order.

The Army Contracting Command manages the economic-price-adjustment contract.
