DLA Awards SupplyCore, SAIC Spots on MRO Contract


ContractThe Defense Logistics Agency has selected Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAIC) and SupplyCore to provide maintenance, repair and operations services under the Tailored Logistics Support Prime Vendor Program.

The Defense Department announcement stated Thursday that SupplyCore, a small business based in Rockford, Illinois, will cover Southwest Region Zone 1 while Fairfield, New Jersey-based SAIC will cover Southwest Region Zone 2.

The two-year indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract will run through Feb. 18, 2020, and use defense working capital funds for fiscal 2015 to 2020.

Both companies will provide MRO services in support of the military branches and federal civilian agencies, DoD said.
