Cloudera Buys Self-Service Analytics Provider; Charles Zedlewski Comments

acquisitionCloudera has bought self-service analytics provider for an undisclosed amount in an effort to help customers in enterprise data center deployment.

The team will join Cloudera to assist clients in adding workloads to their Cloudera  environments, Cloudera said Tuesday.

“With the addition of technology and expertise, we have the opportunity to extend the self-service analytics revolution into the Hadoop platform itself, ” said Charles Zedlewski, vice president of products for Cloudera. helps its customers design and integrate data models with the company’s big data integration service product.

“The business intelligence industry has demonstrated that analytics is moving to a self-service model, ” added Zedlewski.
