US Army Awards $185M for Radioactive Waste Mitigation Project


nuclear power plantThe U.S. Army has awarded 10 positions on a $185 million multiple-award contract to help government civilian and military agencies reduce their toxic and radioactive waste.

The contractors will perform work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task order through Jan. 7, 2020, for the Army Corps of Engineers, N.W. Division and the Environmental Protection Agency, the Defense Department said Thursday.

  • Conti Federal Services
  • Environmental Chemical
  • Obg/Baker Federal Solutions Joint Venture
  • Sevenson Environmental Services
  • Tetra Tech EC (NYSE: TTI)
  • URS Group (NYSE: URS)

The Army received 10 bids for the contract through a solicitation via the Internet.
