Peter Altabef Named President, CEO of Unisys; Paul Weaver Comments

Unisys logoPeter Altabef, president and CEO of Oracle‘s (NYSE: ORCL) MICROS Systems subsidiary, will join Unisys (NYSE: UIS) in January as president, CEO and member of the board of directors.

Unisys said Tuesday that Altabef brings 20 years of experience in leadership roles at other IT companies.

“As an industry veteran, Peter brings outstanding leadership skills, a track record of delivering top and bottom line results and strong operational execution skills, ” said Paul Weaver, incoming chairman of the board at Unisys.

Altabef has served as president and CEO of Perot Systems and president of Dell‘s services business before he joined MICROS in January 2013.
