Rockwell Collins (NYSE: COL) will deliver additional software-defined radio systems to the Naval Air Systems Command under a new four-year, $420 million contract.
The ARC-210 radio is designed to provide landing system UHF data link, SATCOM integrated waveform and combat net radio capabilities, Rockwell Collins said Monday.
Mike Jones, vice president and general manager of communication and navigation products for Rockwell Collins, said the contract is part of the company’s portfolio of situational awareness and communication services for the U.S. and allies.
The radio system is installed in more than 180 aircraft platforms and is certified with Tactical Secure Voice 2.
