Gene Ray, Jay Cohen to Serve in Interim Exec Roles at Decision Sciences


Decision Sciences International CorpDecision Sciences International Corp. has named former Titan Corp. CEO Gene Ray as interim CEO and former Department of Homeland Security Undersecretary Jay Cohen as interim chief operating officer, the Washington Business Journal reported Wednesday.

Kasra Kangarloo writes that the two appointments are effective January, with Ray succeeding outgoing DSIC CEO Stanton Sloane, who will join Comtech Telecommunications (NASDAQ: CMTL) as president and CEO.

“Decision Sciences is thrilled to have the expertise and experience of leaders like Gene and Jay to take the management reins, ” Stuart Rabin, DSIC chairman of the board, said in a statement.

Ray and Cohen are both currently members of the DSIC board, the report said.

Ray led Titan for more than 20 years while Cohen is a retired U.S. Navy admiral and 38-year veteran.
