Patrick Antkowiak Promoted to CTO, Corporate VP at Northrop

Patrick Antkowiak, formerly a vice president and general manager at Northrop Grumman‘s (NYSE: NOC) electronic systems sector, has been promoted to chief technology officer and a corporate VP by the company’s board of directors with immediate effect.

The company said Thursday that Antkowiak, a 33-year Northrop veteran, will develop and oversee the company’s technology strategy, set plans and function as Northrop’s primary interface with technology leaders in the firm’s customer ecosystem.

Antkowiak currently serves as VP and GM of the electronic systems sector’s advanced concepts and technology division and is also a former VP of strategy and capability development for the sector’s engineering and manufacturing organization.

In the latter role, he led work to develop and implement product development roadmaps and technology strategies.

He has also served as director of space systems, where he oversaw the development of radio frequency and electro-optical space sensor and space superiority concepts and technologies for future national security programs.
